| The Weather In most cases this refers to rain and wet roads. It's very possible to skate on wet roads, but I don't feel able to teach lessons
in these conditions. That's because wet roads are slippery on inline skates, and you'll be wanting as much traction as possible when I'm
pushing your abilities with new skills and drills.
I'll do my best to let you know in advance of the lesson, usually via a text message to your mobile phone about 2 hours or so beforehand.
I normally won't even look at the weather until the morning of our lesson, because weather forecasts are notoriously unreliable more than 6 hours
in advance.
Sometimes I make the wrong judgement call, and it turns out to be dry after I cancelled, or we get rained off part way through the lesson.
Should this happen, I'm sorry! Please bear in mind I've done my best to either teach your lesson or minimise any inconvenience to you.
I too remember how frustrating rained off lessons are when I was first learning to skate.
