Surprisingly, recreational inline skating is popular with all ages. It's not the preserve of youngsters with baggy trousers who've been skating since age 2. I think that most recreational skaters were adult starters, and range from teenagers through to OAPs. The most common age seems to be between 35 and 45.

Many skaters are full time city professionals, you'll find plenty of IT workers, lawyers, bankers, and other respectable types, amongst many others.
